A sketchpad, not a DAW
Write a loop together,
finish it in your own DAW.
Two to eight people, anywhere, working on the same four bars in the browser. Export MIDI when the idea is there and arrange it wherever you normally work.
We email you a link. No password to remember, and no account to set up first - a new address creates one.
A picture of the editor goes here - piano roll, tracks, transport.
How it goes
-
1
Invite whoever you're writing with
They get a link that opens the jam and signs them up on the way in.
-
2
Work on the same loop
Place notes, set the tempo and bars, hear it immediately. You can see who is editing which track.
-
3
Save a version when it's worth keeping
Compare any two versions note by note, and put an older one back.
-
4
Export MIDI and open it in your DAW
One MIDI track per part, at the jam's tempo and time signature.
Who it's for
If you have a DAW
Import a MIDI file from your setup, refine it with someone, and export type 1 MIDI with a track per part. You see exactly what changed between versions.
If you don't
Click to place a note and it plays straight away. Nothing to install, nothing to configure. Bring the melody; let them arrange it.
What it isn't
There's no arrangement, no mixing, no effects and no audio recording. A jam is one loop of up to 32 bars, up to 8 tracks, played back in your browser. The arranging happens in your DAW, which is better at it.
